The same extension ships to both stores from one build. It works without an account; sign in later from the popup to sync settings or use Pro.

- Open the Chrome Web Store listing.
- Choose Add to Chrome, then Add extension.
- Pin Slop Squash from the puzzle-piece menu so the popup is one click away.

Firefox
Desktop Firefox 128 and later.
- Open the Firefox Add-ons listing.
- Choose Add to Firefox, then Add in the permission prompt.
- Allow the extension to run in private windows if you want flags there too.

Developers
Load the unpacked build
Clone the repository, run bun install, then build the extension you want to test.

bun run --cwd apps/extension build:firefox # Firefox -> apps/extension/.output/firefox-mv3Chrome: open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, and pick the chrome-mv3 folder.
Firefox: open about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox, choose Load Temporary Add-on, and pick manifest.json inside the firefox-mv3 folder. Temporary add-ons are removed when Firefox closes.
Point the extension at a local API by setting NEXT_PUBLIC_API_URL for the site and the matching setting in the extension popup. Then connect it from /connect.
